The guard snorted and raised an eyebrow, "It is against Imperial Law for Underers to be brought to the Upper City. What do you mean you tricked the other soldier? I do hope you answer honestly." The guard taps his gauntlets fingers on the metal table. Everything seemed to be chrome. It was enough to drive someone crazy after a long period of time.

"You know what I mean.", replied Arrow, trying to act as careless and cold as possible. "It's easy to... persuade a guard. Especially one that had been so, chaste." The guard shrugged, leaning back in her chair as the shivering stopped a bit. It seemed she was already getting ready to the cold nothingness or the place, that was bad. "Ask him, if you must. Though I doubt he'll want to speak about how a woman tricked him so easily."

"Take her away" waved the guard as two more came in, carrying her and throwing her right into the dark cell. She fell right into Sion's arms who was there waiting for her. "A-are you alright?" He whispered.

The shivering started up again as they dragged her back to the cell. "Y-yes, I'm fine." Arrow lied, it was obvious that she wasn't being honest too as the tears welled up in her eyes. "J-just tell them whatever I told you was true, o-okay? You'll b-be fine..."

"Wait...what?" He barely had time to ask as he was dragged out by a new guard. When he returned 30 minutes later, he sat solemnly in the corner of the cell and didn't speak. He wouldn't even look to Arrow.

She was alone in the room for a long time. Or at least it seemed like a long time, it could have been five minutes and it still felt like an eternity. Without him it was hard to even stand to be in the cell, and she ended up getting up and pacing until he was back. Though upon his return, he said not a word to her. Didn't even look at her. Sitting a few feet away from him, she slowly inched closer. "Sion... S, are you okay?.."

"You...you wouldn't..." He spoke briefly before returning to his original stoic state. He eventually fell into a deep sleep, not even looking at her anytime before hand. Several hours pass.

It was probably the fact that he wouldn't even look at her that hurt most. For hours she just stayed there, eventually pulling her tear-stained eyes off of him and looking at the ground. It was almost four or five hours later when she crawled to the corner of the cell and curled up, still crying as she drifted off to sleep.

The sun rose outside the large building, beckoning morning's embrace. Sion's eyes flashed open and fear overtook him. Where was he? "Oh..." he whispered, tailed by a short sigh. "A-Arrow.." He said rather loudly, hoping to wake her from her deep sleep. Sion instantly noticed her tear stained face, sending a wave of guilt crashing into him. "Arrow?" he asked again, nervously this time.

At the sound of anothers voice, Row's eyes fluttered open. She blinked a few times, looking around to try and see where she was and... was that a man's voice? But all she saw was grey. Then it hit her, the jail. Taking a shaky breath, she ducked her head so that her hair shielded her face from him while she wiped her tears away. It was embarrassing, she didn't want him to know she was crying. Finally sure that she was calm, or at least as calm as she could be with red-rimmed eyes and trapped in a jail cell, she looked up at him. "Did you need something?"

Sion quickly blinked twice. What is that supposed to mean. He attempted to think up a sly response but found himself stuttering, "What." He cursed himself in his head, aknowledging his idiotic appearance. "I mean, I'm sorry. I am." He looked her in the eyes, noticing they were red. He worried as to whether or not it was he or not who made her cry.

The guard- or well, she probably wasn't a guard anymore- gave a light shrug. "It doesn't matter Sion." Row rarely actually called people by their names, usually picking a cute nickname instead. So you could usually tell that she was upset or mad when she didn't, but how was he supposed to know that. "What did the guards tell you?" Tearing her eyes from his, she curled up deeper into the corner, into the shadows.

Closed his eyes and spoke, "They said you told them you tricked me. They told me that you said I was stupid; simple. I know you didn't though...right?" He asked with a hint of sadness. His brows dropped quizzically as he spoke, worried as to what she would say.

His words stung, almost bringing tears to her eyes again. It was hard to even think that she'd said those things, but to hear him almost sadly ask her to confirm that she hadn't... But she had done it for his good! "It was the only way to make sure you would be safe."

Sion blinked once more, "Keep me...safe? What are you talking about!?" His voice rose dramatically and his eyes looked furious. "So they were right..?" Sion rubs his hair slowly in disbelief.
