The Caroth live in small cities found near the few and far between liquid water wells. The Carothians live much like the Human-Like races and always strive to improve their military. The Carothians are reluctant to allow any Barlek near their world, due to the last war between them. Carothian military patrols have been found marching in the ancient ice caverns far in the middle of nowhere. Reports say they appear to be searching for something.

The Novenian frigate appeared in the sky, though no one saw it or heard it. It made its way a few miles outside the main Ice City of Caroth.
"Bring support thrusters online and cut power to the main engine," commanded Rodriguez. The ship slowed to a forward lurch and then to a halt, hovering about one hundred feet above the snowy plain. "Bring down the tactical land gear. Then, bring us down." The landing gear extended and the ship met the ground. Rodriguez faced Project Apocalypse. "We are officially on Caroth, my lord."
"Good," he replied. "I want a team of five-hundred standard Mk. X androids waiting at the main ramp in the lower compartments in the ship."
"I will make it happen," said the captain. He walked over to his control panel and motioned it to communication. He spoke over the ship-wide intercom. "This is Rodriguez, your captain speaking. I need a team of five-hundred Mk. X robots to the main ramp at the bottom of the ship within five minutes. Rodriguez out." He shut off the communication and turned to Apocalypse.
"That will be all, captain," Project Apocalypse said. He stood up from the commander's seat he sat and and spoke to Exo. "Come."
The other Project stood and followed behind the supreme ruler. They walked into a lift and took it down to the bottom deck. As they stepped out, they saw a massive array of vehicles, crates, and weapons surrounding the main ramp. There also stood a large group of robots that the Projects assumed were the team of Mk. X's. They approached the mass and they turned to salute them. "At ease," said Apocalypse. "Lay open the ramp, so we may get to the surface. A hydraulic decompression was heard as the hatch was released and the ramp was lowered to the ground. "Let's get to it."
The robots stood in formation and made their way down the ramp. They stopped at the bottom and stood in the snow. Project Apocalypse and Project Exo followed behind them. They set foot in the snow and faced the party of androids they were in command of. "We will be leaving shortly!" Apocalypse announced. As soon as Sion gets down here anyway. he thought.

Alexander and Nathaniel stood outside the shipyard, Nathaniel impatiently swaying from side to side. "Why are they taking so long!?" Nathaniel said. He kicked a small hill of snow, and adjusted his wool snow hat, entirely messing up his hair, but he paid no attention. Alexander looked at Nathaniel through his darkened sunglasses. Both wore them, the sun reflected off of the snow hurting their eyes. Alexander's black scarf flapped in the wind like a flag, and his black leather gloves had been covered in snow. "Patience my brother, there are many androids on that ship. You cannot expect them to unload that fast." Nathaniel sighed, "Good point." He sat against a wall, pulled out a book, and continued where he had left off.

"Sion has disappeared, sir," addressed a young human male ensign to Captain Rodriguez.
"That's impossible. We are still detecting his heat signature aboard the Novadad," spouted the captain.
"We swept his room clean. He's not there. I guarantee you."
"I must inform the commander," replied the now nervous Rodriguez. He pulled up his comm on the bridge of the ship and sent a direct link to Project Exo. "Commander, Sion has vanished. We don't know where he went." Apocalypse also heard this standing next to Exo in the mounds of snow at the base of the ship.
"Understood," Exo returned and snapped off the comm. He rushed back aboard the ship, straight to Sion's room. Sure enough upon entering, he knew what the captain told him was true. No one was in the room. Just a standard issue space heater for off world missions for when organics were involved. Clever thought Exo, but this still doesn't explain why Sion left. He was in no danger. Then it hit him. Sion knows what is in that cave, and he is going for it now. The android ran out of the room, down the corridors, and off of the ship. He approached Project Apocalypse. "Sion is in the caves, my Lord."
"How do you know that?" retorted Apocalypse.
"It's the only logical place he could have gone. He just needed us for transportation here. Sion wants whatever is in that cave and I want to know why." Apocalypse stared off into the distance with his visor. Snow blurred his vision, but he could make out the Mk. X's that were unloading gear.
"We should know why he is there. We did create the universe after all, not that anyone knows that" Exo sighed.
"I know we should, but none of our databases show anything of interest in this cave. Nothing at all." Exo stared back in the cave. "I will prepare the troops. There is no sense in waiting around here for that man to make off with whatever he came here for."
"I agree," gestured the head Project. "Take anyone you need. Whatever it is in there, considering we don't know what it is, could be dangerous."
"Yes my Lord," said Exo. Exo stepped to the foot of the cave, opened his comm, and ordered squads Alpha through Gamma to assist him. This should give him the edge regardless of the situation. Just as the Mk. X's had rallied, Apocalypse joined Exo. "Are you sure you want to put yourself in harms way, sir?"
"I have to know what is in there. I brought him all the way to Novenia, disclosing its location. Sion is dangerous to our entire Dominion just by knowing about it. I need to be sure of his intentions."
"Understood, sir. Let's move." The robots marched in formation into the cave. They came up on a split. The storm outside was growing very strong, and the weather effects were even felt this deep in the cave. The army took a right at the fork, leading them further and further in. About another mile of twists and turns of the ice cave continued on, and yet the howling winds of Caroth's winter hounded them. Slag fell from the ceiling. One Mk. X, an older one as it may be, froze in place and had to be retrieved later. In about half a mile of straight walking, the Novenians entered what appeared to be a temple chamber. There was a large structure in the cavern made out of ancient stone. at the top of it an gem-like object glowed brightly. Waterfalls of an older time were completely frozen, but in some miraculous manner the ice still seemed to flow.
The squads made their way into the center of the main courtyard. "I suppose if Sion would be anywhere he would be here. There is nowhere else to go," stated Exo.
"I concur," Apocalypse told Exo. "But where is he? I am not getting any signatures, except one very strong one from that crystal up on the mount." Both of the Projects looked up at the gem. This must be what Sion is after thought Apocalypse. Just as he was about to start moving toward it, Sion emerged from the shadows behind the gem. "Sion! What are you doing? Why did you leave?" Sion did not reply. "Sion! Sion! Stop where you are!" However this was to no avail. Sion approached the gem and grabbed it. "Sion!." The gem glowed brighter and brighter. The wind increase and the storm grew to a thousand times its strength. Sion screamed and everything turned white. Time stopped.
