... Your good friend, Tristan
And it ended there. Tristan placed the papers one on top of another, and picked up the papers and the cleaver. He went into the dining room, where the long metal table ran down the whole room with three ice chandeliers were chained to large hooks on the ceiling. There were large metal candlesticks on the table. He picked up one, with the candle still lit. Then into the library. The clear, ice bookshelves rose to the ceiling, stocked with books ranging from, The Mechanics of Carothian Locomotives to The Stories of the Ancient Archianos. The huge cushiony chairs were the perfect for reading and the candelabras had ice candles in them, they burned very slowly and casts a big light.
The library was a maze of bookcases and in the back of the room in a small corner, there stood a three legged table next to a wooden chair. Tristan stuck the cleaver into a bookcase and placed the candlestick on the table, and sat in the chair. He pulled out the candle, and a bookcase covered the only exit from the corner. Another bookcase moved revealing a black door. Tristan strode over to it and pulled out a white key and opened the door. Inside there was a metal spiral staircase going upwards. He climbed the stairs to a small room with a large glass window facing the clock tower. A small box with a lock on it was on a table next to a hook holding a white piece of cloth.
Tristan placed the papers down on the table and pulled the cloth off of the hook. It turned out to be a cloak, a sheet with a hood. He put this on and tied the draw string around his neck. he stared out the window when the clock tower struck 15. He picked up the box and inserted the same key as for the door. He pulled out two pistols and a leather-bound book.
He then went down the stairs and out of the library. After pulling out the cleaver, he went into the kitchen and pinned the papers onto the ice table. The pistols in holster, and the book in hand, Tristan exited out the kitchen and into the foyer. Knowing the guards wouldn't let him out, he turned into the back hall. Tristan swiftly went into the ballroom. It was a huge tiled room with a chilhiouri, (or like something he read in a foreign world book like a 'piano') and a quilipori (or like a 'drum set' he read in another book) an went out onto the outside balcony. He bounded down the stairs and out into the city.
Getting to the out-skirting wall, he snuck into an old abandoned general store. His hood propped up, he creaked through the store full of old counters and outdated items. Then behind the counter and out the back door. In the back, stood a glass greenhouse. Inside it was practically at boiling point, holding in the little heat the sun gave it. However, instead of having plants or pots in there, the glass building hid a ship, his very own that he and his mother built together. It was white and silver with a windshield of blue zeiliphorite, a blue crystal that is extremely hard to break. He entered it and flicked a few switches and pushed a lever forward. A few cogs turned and the roof of the green house opened. He then lifted into the air and glided over the wall before shooting into the sky.
Tristan thought about his cloak, which he received from his aunt. His Aunt Susan was an adventurer who traveled into the Ice Caverns. She unlocked a trunk she found in an ice block after thawing it out. Inside was a white cloak with a black draw string. She gave it to him as a gift, he has treasured it since.
