Alexander and his grandmother arrived at the hospital in the black family sedan. They got out and walked into the atrium and up the many elevators that lead to the thousands of hallways. There were many people that were yelling at one of the nurses at the hall desk. Alexander and his grandmother pushed a path for them. They tried to talk to the nurse, but they couldn't talk over the talking of the others. His grandmother put her fingers to her lips and whistled so loudly that some covered their ears. Everyone quieted. "EVERYBODY SHUT UP! WHO IS HERE FOR WHO?" She shouted. All shouted, "Nathaniel Hexx!" "What?! Who are all of you?" Alexander questioned. "I work with him in the Ancient Mechanisms Department!" One said. "I'm his partner in the Antiquities Department!" Said a woman in the back. "And I work with him in the Bone Cleaning Department!" Said a teen at the front by the desk. "You're all co-workers?" Alexander's grandmother asked. "YES!" They said all together.
Alexander walked to Nathaniel's room. "Wait, did he get moved to a different room?" Alexander asked after seeing the bed empty. "No, he hasn't moved since all of these people got here," The nurse replied trying to look over all of the people. "But he isn't in his bed," Alexander said. The nurse saw through the pyrex window and opened her eyes wide. She pressed a call button on the wall tablet, holding the button and spoke into the intercom. "Attention all staff, we have a delusional patient of multiple hallucinations out of his room, access emergency lock down!" Sirens wailed, light walls fell over the windows, and laser bars latticed the doors. "He is still in this hospital, I know it. I can feel it." Alexander said.

Nathaniel walked through the hall, the lights fell red, and church bells went off. It felt peaceful, like he was being warmed. He smiled, he saw a vase on a table, he picked it up, but it fell and smashed on the ground, he looked up and checked if anyone saw. Picking the pieces up, they somehow immediately fell from his hands. He shrugged and walked on down the hall.

Alexander saw Nathaniel walking down the X-Ray department into the atrium, knocking down a couple of security guards on the way. He ran down the stairwell and up to his twin. Nathaniel saw him and Alexander saw his eyes go from grey to red. "SEBASTIAN, NOO!! NOOOOO!!!! DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!!!" He picked up a scalpel from a nearby cart, holding it as though to intimidate. Alexander stopped all the security guards with a hand wave. He slowly walked over to the main desk, picked up a pen and a paper pad. He wrote in his cursive handwriting and placed the pad on the ground, pushing it over to Nathaniel with his foot. He picked it up and read it.
"Wait, Alexander?" Nathaniel said slowly. His eyes turned into a light pink as though his normal and now abnormal eye color mixed together. His eyes flickered.

The hall was burning, the windows collapsing, and the benches were falling apart. He ran, the fire was after him. It burned the statues to ashes and the chandeliers fell from the ceiling. A door. It had a brass handle and looked like the kind to enter his apartment. He pulled the handle. It didn't budge. He pushed the door. Nothing. He bashed against the door. His fists pounded, and he kicked at the hinges. He felt the heat of the fire.

Nathaniel woke with a start in his hospital room. He was breathing hard and Alexander lay in the bed next to him. His face was turned away from him. He saw a bunch of co-workers outside the window next to his bed. His mind was racing, what had happened to him that caused those dreams? And why was it that his sister's didn't have graves? He wiped his hands over his face and felt a ditch in his face. A scar from a hit with something. He remembered now, Alexander incapacitated him by hitting him with a chair. A very... unique use of furniture, Nathaniel thought, but expected from Alexander.

The cold wind of fall hit Alexander's face. Nathaniel was released from his room, and they were heading home, quickly, after his co-workers reminded them that they needed to meet some people on Caroth to go on another exploration of the Caverns. They got home on their hydrocycles, and packed their old leather suitcases as fast as they could and tied their cloaks to their necks. They then set out for the spaceport.
