Roleplay Rules


1. Excessive use of out of character chat (via parentheses) in the roleplay section is not allowed.

2. Speaking in OOC without parentheses is not allowed

3. No use of 1337 speak at all. All posts, In-Character or Out-of-Character, must contain good grammar and spelling.

4. You must be in character at all times when in the roleplay section unless you use parentheses OOC for clarification.

5. No power-gaming or meta-gaming will be tolerated, including the use of unapproved technology or lore.

6. No Metagaming, meaning no information you know as a player may be transferred to your character.

7. You must use an appropriate name and age for your characters race.

8. Cursing in RP is allowed but must be used with good taste. In other words, no spamming F-Bombs.

9. No descriptive cybering of any kind is allowed, though *Fade to Black* scenes are. This is due to the young audience that may be present on the forum. No instances of rape may be roleplayed, including using *Fade to Black*.



Out Of Character Rules


1. No racial discrimination or racist remarks. RP racism towards other in-game races is acceptable.

2. No spamming of any section of the forum. Only posts that contribute to the forum overall are permitable.

3. Your forum username must not be inappropriate.

4. Do not be disrespectful to other members of the Aphelion community or to the Aphelion Staff. Constructive criticism is allowed, though bashing, flaming, and trolling is not.

5. You may not blackmail players in OOC in order for their character to be influenced.
